Raping Democracy 

Only half a dozen days since turning the page

on one of the darkest years in our history,

Lady Liberty hid her face in disgrace

at the misplaced frustration

of the most misinformed in our nation.

They wore their privilege like a badge of honor.

While others simply took a knee,

they crashed the Capitol to rape democracy.

Can’t you see the hypocrisy?

They’d rather their blue lives die,

than confess their truth to be lies.

It’s not hard to see why they cling to conspiracy.

as that which validates their right to be

the victimized heroes of our society.

Are they gods among men,

that the majority must bow

to what their egos require?

Those who did bow simply stoked the fires

that fueled these fanatical rioters.

These masked crusaders, self-righteous haters

destroyed the Now for others to clean up Later.

Have they no shame?

Not when they believe that all is theirs to gain.

“More power to the privileged!”

is their selfish cry.

Mr. President, you glorify that which horrifies

the rest of us who cry “Unjust!”

as you thrust your demands upon the defenders of our land.

There’s blood on the hands of the fans that you praise.

Yet liberals are to blame for the pain of losing

what was never theirs to claim —

the right to a white life:

the chance to realize the American dream,

built on a billion nightmares.
